Old Town Cafe & Comics · Williston, VT
Vermont 2600 · Next meeting
Every month Old Town Cafe & Comics. No RSVP. No signup. Just show up.
Vermont's monthly 2600 meeting. Show up, grab coffee, talk about whatever. Hacking, hardware, radio, locks, firmware, networks, whatever you are into.
Nobody cares what your skill level is. We have people who barely know how to open a terminal and people reversing binaries. Both are welcome.
No RSVP. No signup. Just be there.
It's an oscilloscope. Channel 2 is the meeting schedule and the trigger is the next meeting. Channel 1 is a calculated 2600 Hz sine that grows on screen as Friday gets closer. Both channels share one time scale.
Drag the screen to move through time. Scroll or pinch to change the shared timebase from 20 µs/div to 30 d/div. Zoom in to resolve the sine's 384.6 µs period. At wider scales, its amplitude envelope replaces unresolved cycles. Stop Run for a stable close-up.
Point at a pulse to see that meeting. Arrow keys move between meetings, plus and minus zoom around Now when visible, and space toggles Run.
While Run is selected, Now stays in place and both signals scroll left in real time. At a day-scale zoom, movement is naturally very slow. Resuming Run catches up to the current clock. Auto, A, or a double click takes a fresh capture and fits the view, even while stopped. Opening a menu does not change Run.
One of the monthly 2600 meetings. Also available as plain text and an Atom feed.

Every meeting is open floor. A topic is a place to start, not a syllabus. Atom feed
No set topic. Bring whatever you are chasing. Exploitation, hardware, radio, lockpicking, anything goes. All skill levels.
Going from zero to a full map of a target. Passive recon, nmap timing and NSE scripts, service fingerprinting, and where enumeration quietly turns into a foothold. Open floor as always.
Firmware enumeration and where the attack surface lives before the OS even loads. DXE, SMM, the parts most people never look at. Bring your own firmware.
App teardown, ADB poking, intercepting traffic on a device you own, and the usual rabbit holes in the mobile attack surface. Open floor, bring whatever you are working on. All skill levels.
